Ronald Chan is the Chief Investment Officer of Nomura SITE, a role he has held since July 2025, bringing more than 35 years of investment experience in the financial industry. Prior to joining Nomura SITE, he served as CIO, Equities, Asia ex-Japan at Manulife Investment Management in Hong Kong from 2011 to 2025, having previously held CIO positions at Pacific Eagle Asset Management in Hong Kong, Reliance Asset Management (Singapore) Ltd., and as CIO–Asian Equity at Fortis Investment Management / BNP Asset Management in Shanghai and Hong Kong.
He holds a Master’s degree in Finance & Investment from the University of Exeter and a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics & Economics from the University of Bristol, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) as well as a member of the UK’s Institute of Investment Management & Research (IIMR).
