Riad Abrahams is a Senior Managing Director and Head of Strategy in Blackstone Multi-Asset Investing (BXMA). He serves as Chief Executive Officer of Blackstone Multi-Strategy Hedge Fund (BXHF) and is a member of the Investment Committees for BXMA’s Multi-Strategy Investing Platform, Absolute Return Platform and Blackstone Alternative Multi-Strategy Fund (BXMIX).
Prior to joining Blackstone in 2022, Mr. Abrahams served as Chief Strategist and Head of Quantitative Investing at Maverick Capital, a global long/short equity fund. At Maverick, he was a member of the Portfolio Management Committee and Stock Committee and previously served as Co-Head of the Consumer Sector. Mr. Abrahams began his career at Blackstone in 1999 in the Private Equity group.
Mr. Abrahams received a B.A. from Harvard College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of St. Bernard’s School and serves on the Investment Committee for Cranbrook Schools.
