Pietro Sorrentino joined OEP in 2025 and is an Operating Partner based in New York City with a focus on supporting portfolio companies in the value creation process.
Prior to joining OEP, Mr. Sorrentino spent 13 years with McKinsey & Company as a Partner in their Turnaround Practice in the US where he supported clients across sectors launch, execute, and sustain large-scale transformation programs (across both cost reduction and revenue growth). Before joining McKinsey, Mr. Sorrentino was a Consultant in the Financial Services division of Oliver Wyman in Italy, supporting clients across Europe and Africa.
Mr. Sorrentino graduated from Bocconi University in Milan and holds a BSc and a MSc in Economics and Statistics. Mr. Sorrentino also holds an MBA from Columbia Business School in New York City.
