As an investment specialist in fixed income product management, Cara is responsible for the core bond, core bond plus, intermediate bond, and credit total return approaches. She works closely with the fixed income investment teams and investment directors to help ensure the integrity of their investment approaches by overseeing portfolio positioning, performance, and risk exposures. She meets regularly with the investment teams and contributes to developing new products and client solutions and managing business issues such as capacity, fees, and guidelines. She also participates in meetings with clients, prospects, and consultants to communicate our investment philosophy, strategy, positioning, and performance.
Prior to joining the firm in 2023, Cara worked in a variety of roles at Breckinridge Capital Advisors, including investment strategist and consultant relations (2013 – 2022).
Cara earned her MBA from Boston University (2016) and her BA in Asia-related political and economic studies from Union College (2011). She is an FSA credential holder and earned the CFA Institute certificate in ESG Investing. Additionally, she holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute.
