Avinash Vazirani joined Jupiter Asset Management in July 2007 and is the Investment Manager of the Indian Equities strategy, where he oversees investment decisions and portfolio construction.
He has over 25 years of experience in the investment industry. Prior to joining Jupiter, he founded Peninsular Capital Partners LLP in 2005 and served as Managing Partner. Before that, he was CIO for South Asia and Africa at BNP Paribas Asset Management, and earlier in his career, he was CEO of GEM Dolphin Investment Managers until its sale in 1997.
Avinash began his investment career in 1994 and is a qualified Chartered Accountant. He is also a Trustee of The London Clinic, a Non-Executive Director of the UK India Business Council, and a former Trustee and Chair of Pratham UK, a charity focused on children’s education in India.
