Alejandro Ciruelos joined Qualitas Energy in 2022 and currently serves as Partner and Country Head for the United States, having previously held the same position for the United Kingdom. He is responsible for leading Qualitas Energy’s corporate presence and strategic transactions in the United States, as well as overseeing the firm’s investment strategy and execution, including asset rotation and divestments. In addition, he manages financial structuring, portfolio management, and transactional advisory activities.
Prior to joining Qualitas Energy, he was Managing Director at Sustainable Development Capital LLP (SDCL) and spent over a decade at Santander Corporate & Investment Banking (SCIB), where he held various positions including Managing Director, Director, Vice President, Associate, and Analyst. He began his career as a Senior Analyst at DiamondCluster International (now Oliver Wyman).
Alejandro holds an MSc in Applied Economics from Marquette University and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE). He also completed the Leadership Programme at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
