José Luis Pano

Partner and Global Head of Impact and Return at Vinci Compass. He joined the company in 2009 as a partner in the Private Equity strategy. From 2003 to 2008, he worked at Pactual and UBS Pactual, where he led the management of the Nordeste Empreendedor Private Equity fund and the PCP I fund. Throughout his career at Vinci, he has served on the Boards of Directors of several portfolio companies, including Unidas, Pro Infusion, Camarada, and Burger King. Between 2012 and 2016, he served as CEO of Cecrisa (a company acquired by the VCP II fund). Prior to that, he was the founder and CEO of the LID Group, a venture capital company focused on South America. He also has six years of international experience as a Principal at Booz & Co., working in Buenos Aires, Bogotá, Singapore, and Jakarta. Additionally, he worked as a Senior Consultant at Accenture and as a Financial Analyst at Intel Corporation in Oregon (USA). He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina and an MBA from the University of Washington in Seattle (USA).
