Matthew Beesley joined Jupiter Asset Management in January 2022 as Chief Investment Officer, was appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer in June 2022, and became Chief Executive Officer in October 2022. He currently leads the firm’s overall strategy and operations, overseeing a broad range of active investment capabilities.
He has nearly 25 years of experience in the investment industry, including senior leadership roles at Artemis Investment Management, GAM and Henderson Global Investors. Throughout his career, he has developed deep expertise in investment management, with a strong track record overseeing global teams across multiple asset classes and regions.
Prior to joining Jupiter, he was Chief Investment Officer at Artemis Investment Management and held senior investment roles at GAM and Henderson Global Investors. Earlier in his career, he worked as a portfolio manager at J.P. Morgan Asset Management and Mercury Asset Management. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Investment Association.
